DESCRIPTION:In celebration of Women’s History Month\, join Liberty Hall Museum for our very first Third Thursday Lecture!  From Susan Livingston\, daughter of Governor Livingston\, whose daring exploits saved Liberty Hall from the British during the Revolutionary War\, to Mary Alice Kean who worked tirelessly for the preservation of our historic structures. Livingston and Kean women have played an important role in the history of our community. This lively talk describes 200 years of contributions by the ladies of Liberty Hall.

DESCRIPTION:Come meet some of the remarkable women in the Livingston/Kean family as we celebrate Women’s History Month! Women have been making history at Liberty Hall for centuries\, leaving their individual mark on the property and community at large. In conjunction with our newly installed “How Long Myst We Wait: Suffrage and the Ladies of Liberty Hall” exhibit\, visitors will have the opportunity to connect with some of the previous female residents of Liberty Hall\, discussing how their lives joined with the figures around them as they chat about the house they know and love. \nThere are two sessions: 11:30 AM- 1:00 PM and 2:00 PM- 3:30PM. \nUnfortunately\, because of Covid restrictions\, we must limit ticket sales to ONE adult per child.
