DESCRIPTION:The historical portraits of the residents of Liberty Hall hold many secrets! We’ll discuss how each portrait tells us something about the subject. Students will use origami techniques to create a one-of-a-kind sketchbook to bring home. Finally\, students will create and personalize a self-portrait from recycled materials. \nThe program is designed for students in grades 1st to 5th and includes a snack. \nThis is a drop-off program. Spend an afternoon outside walking through the beautiful museum grounds\, enjoying site-specific professional dance performances inspired by moments in history. Program recommended for all ages.  \nReservations are suggested\, and walk-ins are welcome. \nThis arts program is made possible in part by a 2023 HEART (History\, Education\, Arts Reaching Thousands) Grant from the Union County Board of County Commissioners.
