As you enjoy your afternoon tea experience\, relax back beside our beautiful garden and take in our breathtaking views. DESCRIPTION:Discover the Revolution in a whole new way! Learn about two battles in NJ that changed the course of the Revolutionary War through music\, spy craft\, uniforms\, and art. Each participant will learn about the spies\, soldiers\, and generals who took part in the Battles of Springfield and Connecticut Farms and will be able to decode secret messages and create their own militia uniform! \nThis drop-off program is designed for students in grades 1st to 5th and includes a snack. Reservations Required.

DESCRIPTION:From Susan Livingston\, daughter of Governor Livingston\, whose daring exploits saved Liberty Hall from the British during the Revolutionary War\, to Mary Alice Barney Kean who worked tirelessly for the preservation of our historic structures\, to Abbe\, an enslaved woman who attempted to self-emancipate while in Paris\, the ladies of Liberty Hall have played an important role in the history of our community and our nation. This is a special tour of Liberty Hall that highlights the incredible women who lived and labored at this historic home.

DESCRIPTION:Every Wednesday this summer we will be offering a boxed lunch add-on for our 11 am guided house tour. The boxed lunch will be served at Noon following the house tour. Lunch will be at a picnic table in our lovely gardens reserved just for you! \n*Reservations for the boxed lunch add-on option must be made at least one week in advance. We will email you with the sandwich choices once the reservation has been made.

Did you know that white wedding dresses emerged after Queen Victoria married Prince Philip in 1840? Join us as we take a closer look into our new exhibit\, “Love Unveiled: 250 Years of Saying “I Do” and see how weddings have changed throughout history. Learn how the exhibit highlights the numerous family weddings and traditions we hold dear but many do not know where they started and why we continue to do them. Afterward relax in our historic gardens with wine and finger foods\, as the sun sets. It’s perfect for a late spring date night or a night out with friends! \nLight refreshments served. Reservations Required. Must be 21 years or older to attend.
