Wednesday Night at the Museum: Respectfully Yours, Letters from the Past
February 22 7:00 pm 9:00 pm EST
When was the last time you wrote a letter to a friend or loved one? Enjoy Liberty Hall’s new series, Wednesday Night at the Museum, for an exclusive look at letters from the past. During the 18th and 19th centuries, letter writing was the only way to communicate long distances. Join us as we discover what information we gather about the Livingston and Kean family members from Liberty Hall’s extensive collection of letters. Explore some never-before-seen correspondences and learn “tricks of the trade” about transcribing letters. After your transcribing session, sip on a signature drink, snack, and socialize while learning more about historic Liberty Hall. A fun trivia game and time to mingle will conclude the Night at the Museum!
