Brownie Shape Seekers

Use binoculars to study and collect data about the bird population at Liberty Hall. Learn to graph data using pie charts and bar graphs. Finally, visit Liberty Hall’s beehives and learn about the importance of the honeycomb shape and draw your own tessellations. This program fulfills requirements of Shapes in Nature Brownie Badge.

Program Availability: April-October only. Sundays: 2pm-4pm, Saturdays: 10am-4pm, Weekdays: 3pm-5pm

Program Length: 90 minutes

Program Fee: $12.00 per scout, two leaders admitted free, $8.00 per additional adult

These programs must be scheduled a minimum of two weeks in advance and require a minimum of 10 participants. When a troop has fewer than 10 members, leaders may join with another troop or invite non-scout peers to participate in programs. A 50% deposit of program cost is required at the time of booking. Balance is due the day of the program.
