The Art of Liberty Hall

The extensive art collection of Liberty Hall will provide a springboard for scouts to discover the elements of art and principles of design. We’ll discuss how color can be used to set a mood  or convey an emotion. Scouts will explore the collection with a museum educator and then draw inspiration from artifacts and the grounds to create their own one-of-a-kind masterpiece. In addition, we’ll create an original logo and discuss three career opportunities in the arts. This program fulfills several requirements of the Art merit badge. Merit badge counselor available to sign blue cards after the completion of the program.
