Discover the incredible life of Liberty Hall’s own Civil War nurse, Christine Kean Griffin. Using diaries, letters, photographs and objects in our collection, join us as we recreate Christine’s harrowing journey and experience as a nurse for the US Sanitary Commission during the Battle of Fair Oaks/Seven Pines of 1862. Explore the causes of the war, the Union and Confederate responses, and how one woman from a small town in New Jersey made a large impact. Also available as a virtual outreach program.
