A Child’s Colonial Life

Step back in time and experience an average day in the life of a child in the late 1700s. Using a variety of historical artifacts and reproductions, museum educators in period clothing will lead students through play-based activities as they learn about colonial life, chores, and schooling. Students will also play with real colonial toys and games and make their own paper tricorn hats and bonnets. This program includes the opportunity for a snack and a story. A Child’s Colonial Life is also available as an outreach program
