Learn about the complex structures of our federal and state government, while also exploring the home of the first elected governor of NJ. Cadettes will discover how our very own democracy works, become inspired by historical women in the government, and learn to take action in their own community. This program fulfills several requirements for the Democracy for Cadettes badge.

Program Availability: Sundays: 2pm-4pm, Saturdays: 10am-4pm, Weekdays: 3pm-5pm
Program Length: 90 minutes
Program Fee: $12.00 per scout, Two leaders admitted free, $8.00 per additional adult
These programs must be scheduled a minimum of two weeks in advance and require a minimum of 10 participants. When a troop has fewer than 10 members, leaders may join with another troop or invite non-scout peers to participate in programs. A 50% deposit of program cost is required at the time of booking. Balance is due the day of the program.
