The extensive art collection of Liberty Hall will provide a springboard for scouts to discover the elements of art and principles of design. We’ll discuss how color can be used to set a mood or convey an emotion. Scouts will explore the collection with a museum educator and then draw inspiration from artifacts and the grounds to create their own one-of-a-kind masterpiece. In addition, we’ll use a different drawing techniques to create an original logo and discuss three career opportunities in the arts. This program fulfills several requirements of the Art badge.
