Nature and Society

How do humans affect nature and vice versa? Liberty Hall educators will help students understand this key concept while hiking on Liberty Hall’s trails to discover the importance of composting, visiting the colonial herb garden and outbuildings to discuss food preservation, and making their own chlorophyll art!

Program Availability: Monday – Friday, 10:00 am-11:30 am, April through October, rain or shine

Recommended Grade Level: 5th grade

Program Length: 90 minutes, 2 hours with lunch

Group Limit: Up to 50 Students (for larger groups, please inquire)

Admission: $12.00 per student

School and district professionals are admitted free. Additional parents and chaperones are $14.00 each. One adult is required for every 10 students. Liberty Hall may limit the number of adults due to space limitations. Please see the FAQ page for the maximum number of adults allowed
