Tall Tales of the Revolution

Immerse yourself in the stories of the past and explore some of the revolutionary-era folktales that have been passed down through generations both in story and song. Students will then hear the story of Livingston Fox, Liberty Hall’s mascot, and help illustrate the story by creating a class mural to take home. Students will also play with real colonial toys and games, paint their own wooden finger top, and make paper tricorn hats and bonnets. This program includes the opportunity for a snack and a story.  Tall Tales of the American Revolution is also available as an outreach program!
