Liberty on the Road: Adult Outreach Programs: Canonically Kean: 200 Years of Storytelling

Take a trip back in time to explore 40,000 years of storytelling – from cave paintings through computers! Learn the different ways that humans have printed and bound their stories! Get an up-close look at some of the books in the Kean family’s extensive collection. From first editions of Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland and The Wizard of Oz – to a speech given by Peter Kean, Esq. dating back to 1823! Program Availability: Sunday through Saturday, 9:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m. (dependent upon museum educator availability)
Program Fee: $125 + applicable travel
Program Length: 45 minutes to 1 hour
