As the home to New Jersey’s first elected Governor and signer of the United States Constitution, William Livingston, Liberty Hall has witnessed the changing of a nation. From 1774 until 1995, Liberty Hall served as the home to the Livingston and Kean families. Both families were involved in politics, business, philanthropy, and preservation work that helped shape the nation. Liberty Hall Museum is proud to offer programming that explores 250 years of United States history, culture, and identity.
