Liberty Hall invites all home schoolers and their families to step back in time and explore the life of the many children who called Liberty Hall home. We will be running two programs concurrently: A Child’s Colonial Life for 3 to 5 year olds and Changing Childhood for 6 to 11 year olds. Through play-based activities, the littlest learners will explore a child’s life, chores, and school during colonial times. Through hands-on activities, the older learners will explore how life has changed for five generations of children at Liberty Hall, from the colonial era to the 1940s, by comparing lighting, music, transportation, communication, technology, and clothing.
