Uncork History: Rhythms of a Nation, The Drumset’s Evolution in History
May 28 6:30 pm 8:30 pm EDT

Enjoy our summer series in the garden and join us for Uncork History: Rhythms of a Nation, The Drumset’s Evolution in American History. Explore a century of music evolution (1865-1965) through the Drums. The drumset is an American invention and represents a collection of sounds and instruments from around the world, having evolved alongside major historical events. Learn how wars, immigration, prohibition, radio, and television all had an effect on the instrument and music as a whole. Justin will perform songs from various eras in history, from New Orleans jazz to R&B. Guests will also have a chance to test their rhythm skills on the instrument! Afterward, relax in our historic gardens with wine and finger foods, as the sun sets. It’s perfect for a late spring date night or a night out with friends!
Light refreshments served. Reservations Required. Must be 21 years or older to attend.
