Changing Childhood

Museum educators dressed in period clothes will guide students on a time travel adventure through five different generations: 1780s; 1820s; 1860s; 1900s; and 1940s.  Through artifacts, reproductions and hands-on activities, students will explore how life has changed for children at Liberty Hall by comparing lighting, transportation, communication, technology, clothing, music, and toys. Additional workshops available.


Program Availability: Monday – Friday, 10:00 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Recommended Grade Level: 1st through 5th 

Program Length: Minimum 2 hours

Group Limit: Up to 130 Students (for larger groups, please inquire)

Admission: $10.00

1 free adult for every 10 students, additional adults are $12.00 each
