Afterschool Adventures: Houses and Homes
Liberty Hall Museum 1003 Morris Ave., Union, NJExplore the world of architecture! Through hands-on activities, students will gain an understanding of the types of building materials used for houses and homes around the world. By examining the buildings on Liberty Hall's property, students will learn how different building materials were used throughout time and how climate, building function, and culture affect architecture. Students will spend time in our "design lab" creating their own two and three dimensional structures from a wide variety of materials.
