Education: Changing Childhood

Changing Childhood

Museum educators dressed in period clothes will guide students on a time travel adventure through five different generations: 1780s; 1820s; 1860s; 1900s; and 1940s.  Through artifacts, reproductions, and hands-on activities, students will explore how life has changed for children at Liberty Hall by comparing lighting, transportation, communication, technology, clothing, music, and toys. Additional workshops are available.
